Company Drivers deserve to be rewarded with a great benefits package. At Venture Transport, we make sure to provide our drivers with great pay, great benefits, and consistent home time. Do you have dependents and mortgage payments? Then you already know that you can’t take chances with your health or your finances. Venture Transport pays for short term disability coverage for Company Drivers, offering up to $300 per week in support. We also have medical, dental, vision, and life insurance policies. New drivers are automatically enrolled in our 401K program with the company matching up to 6%, but you can choose to opt out or adjust the amount saved.
Time with family is important. We have a variety of local and regional positions, but over 65% of Venture Transport drivers return home daily. If you’re a Regional Driver scheduled to return home weekly, then we make a priority of getting you home consistently. For OTR drivers, six holidays per year are paid at $90 per day. Time off accrues at .42 days per month, with increases at 2 and 5 years:
Employees at Venture Transport (both drivers and office staff) are eligible for our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The company covers the cost of five paid visits to a wide variety of assistance programs. You’ll probably hear these called “Self-Improvement Appointments.” Through the EAP, employees can get financial services, personal or marital counseling, legal advice, and other useful services. After their first 30 days of employment (6 months for trainees) Company Drivers can request approval for one passenger at a time. The passenger must be at least 11 years old and cannot be a CDL holder. The driver and the passenger (or their parent/guardian, if a minor) must sign the Release of Liability form, and there’s also a $7 monthly fee. We also need to have a copy of the passenger’s identification on file. When possible, please submit requests for passenger approval to the safety department a week ahead of time.
